Club House Semarang International Golf Course [competition project, 2004]

Indonesian culture that we want to introduce to the International users in this Club House is general Indonesian traditional architecture, three principle parts of the building, which is head part (roof), body part (wall), and leg part (column), modified and combined with the present contextuality in term of material, expression, and site location.

The blind of horizontal and vertical wood positioned in the front of the opening (glass wall) is designed to reduce the sunshine entering the building and possibly disturbing the visitors’ convenience.

This project has been presented on Belajar Desain [Design Learning] 1st Gathering on 17 September 2004. The documentations can be found in this link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/belajardesain/photos/album/32900535/pic/list
